David Macklin David Macklin

David's next appearance will be as Daddy Warbucks in "Annie" at the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch opening the last week in February 2009.

David has been involved in Amateur shows for nearly thirty years as a performer and lately as a producer. He is also a member of Green Room Productions and Potters Bar Theatre Club.

He has played many major roles over the years including: Higgins in "My Fair Lady", Arthur in "Camelot", Julian Marsh in "42nd Street", Harold Hill in "The Music Man", The Pirate King in "Pirates of Penzance", Fred Graham in "Kiss Me Kate", The Chairman in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood", Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls", Jack Point in "Yeoman of the Guard", Emile de Becque in "South Pacific" and Zach in "A Chorus Line" ,Fagin in “Oliver” Higgins in “Pygmallion” Bud Flanaghan in “Underneath the Arches”, Luther Billis in “South Pacific” and Buddy in “Follies”. David has featured in all the shows produced by Ego Productions.

He has also produced "Me and My Girl", "Guys and Dolls" , “Slipper and The Rose”, Singing in the Rain” , “Oh What a Lovely War” as well as devising and producing three revues.

His last appearance was in November at the Millfield Edmonton, as the Doctor in “Grand Hotel” for Finchley and Frein Barnet Operatic Society.
